Festive displays at West India Docks

Event: Gazprom Christmas Party

Our challenge: We had to create a water screen in Canary Wharf as part of a Christmas party

How did we do it? In the depths of a freezing December permissions were granted and the pumps & floatation systems were deployed into the chilly West India Docks.

Bespoke content was projected on the 30m water screen that lasted for a 12 minute show. A laser show and programmed lighting ran alongside the water screen along with 2x 7K Orka smoke machines, which bellowed vapour across the water adding to the mystery of the show.

The installation of the equipment and generators took 2 days along with full show rehearsals. The internal event post dinner had iFX technicians operating a 6w white light ladder for an aerial and graphic display
